The Islamic Foundation is proudly part of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) administered by the CRA
The Community Free Tax Clinic is an effort by the Islamic Foundation of Toronto and its dedicated volunteers to offer help to students, seniors, and lower-income families prepare and file income tax returns.
All volunteers receive training from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through the CVITP program and can offer simplified returns filing only. We can also help file prior year returns. We provide filing services to all; irrespective of religion and faith, as long as they meet the eligibility guidelines set by the government's CVITP program.
Our tax clinic operates by appointment only. Please call (647) 367 8578 to book your appointment. Virtual and in-person sessions are available year round. Please note in-person sessions are hosted on the last Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
